Jamie - Co-Founder and Trip Architect
Jamie lived in Boston, London and New York as a child. She studied Art History and Italian at Trinity College and came to Italy in 1996 on a study abroad program. The immersive experience changed her life and she moved back to Italy for good upon graduation. In the late 90's she traveled around Italy and France working as a guide and personal shopper withJapanese tourists. This experience opened her eyes to the market for luxury resale and she started an on-line luxury resale business specializing hard to find in accessories. Thanks to her experience with luxury goods Jamie has been a recurring guest speaker at the American University of Rome, lecturing on luxury fashion. Once her children became teenagers she started to work for a large Italian tour operator as a tour manager and tour leader, while still maintaining her resale business. She enjoyed interacting with tourists and sharing her love of Italy, so the next step seemed clear: blending her passion for art, culture, and travel with her entrepreneurial spirit to create a travel service for discerning tourists who want a meaningful and immersive experience . Her deep love for Italy and its culture, combined with her background in luxury resale and customer service help make Punto Dolce an exceptional company.
